Hi, we are Tine & Kami and founded the TIKA Surfcamp in 2022. We love the ocean, surfing and made our dream come true. We want to share our passion for surfing and offer you the perfect setup for a great surf vacation. We love to meet and welcome you in our little portuguese paradise!
Where we met? Right, at a surf camp! 2018 we met at a surf camp in Bali. The love for surfing connected us immediately and several surf vacations together followed. The dream of opening a surf camp in Portugal accompanied us constantly. At the beginning of 2021 the time had come - our decision was made! It was immediately clear to us that it had to be Portugal! The first-class waves, the beautiful nature, the warmth of the Portuguese and not to forget, the fantastic food have captivated us from the first visit. For one year we calculated and worked out a concept. In the fall of 2021, we finally found our dream property for a surf house on the beach. Then everything went very, very fast. And here we are – Come and join us!
Tine, from Düsseldorf, is passionate about sports. In her twenties she was a successful track and field athlete and member of the German national team and then discovered her love for surfing.Tine takes care of the administrative things in the surf house and is also happy to give you tips on surf fitness aka paddle power.
Kami, from Berlin, started surfing at the age of 30 and since then she has tried almost every board sport and can't imagine her life without a board under her feet. She works as a camerawoman for film and television and is responsible for marketing, photos and helps you to find your balance on the surf-, balance- or skateboard.
